授業の概要

This course is to provide graduate students guidance in formulating their master's thesis. Three areas are emphasized: (1) research problem, (2) literature review, and (3) research proposal. Step-by-step, students will establish the relevance of their research problem, review the past literature to suggest explanatory variables and hypotheses, and develop a plan for data collection.

参考文献	See class supplemental reading list in course syllabus. All reading materials will be placed on RESERVE at the library or accessed from websites. In addition, graduate students must compile a bibliography consisting of at least 50 references (i.e., articles, books, etc.).
