授業の概要
Students will be expected to do many of the same activities and tasks that are done in the regular English Communication classes; including reading books from the library and focusing on :

1) comprehending the meaning of what was written
2) identifying important words/phrases to be learned
3) writing true context sentences using new vocabulary.

In addition to book or paper based homework, students will be expected to do the Online English tasks done by all E.C. students; including all of the quizzes and the tests.

Some of the activities done in class, will focus on working together to improve skills for comprehending the English in the library books or the stories used in Online English. That may include tasks focusing on vocabulary and grammar.

Other than the tasks to be done inside the classroom or homework related to in-class activities, students may be asked to plan an individual long-term project related to learning or using English.

There will be individual conferences with the teacher and tutor outside of the lesson. The focus will be on discussing each student's attitude and his/her participation in the classroom activities, quality of homework, and the progress in learning English.
