Greetings, Introductions and Classroom Management (rules). Focus on Description: review and getting to know each other again.* Complete written homework over any handout
* Complete any Grammar Book assignment
* Review vocabulary from handouts and grammar book
第2回目
The most interesting person I met this summer. Focus on Description and use of adjectives: My boss is a really smart guy!
第3回目
Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. What was the most interesting job I have ever had? The kind of job I would like to have some day. Focus on verb tense forms:past perfect tense/present perfect/future perfect.
第4回目
I have a dream. My dream is to become/achieve/fulfill/accomplish. Focus on verb forms and meanings of become, come to be, came to be, and began.
第5回目
What’s my horror scope? Focus on if conditionals: Students will predict each other’s fortunes; If you study hard this term, you will get straight A’s.

Food Glorious Food. Focus on comparatives: Which sushi is better? tastier? Tastiest?Which is least tasty?

Restaurants: Fast and Fastidious? Focus on ordering in restaurants/show when polite and less polite forms are used.

Food preparation: Let’s make Omochi!Focus on critical thinking tasks of measurements: students will translate Japanese recipes into English using imperative forms and will convert from the metric to the American standard of measurement.

Staying healthy in life.Focus on subject-verb-object (active sentences versus passive). I drink fresh juice. I go to bed early. Stress that active forms are more desirable than are passive sentences in certain contexts.
