授業の概要
 An introduction to Heinrich Schenker's highly influential theory of Western tonal music. Students learn the basics of Schenkerian analytical techniques built upon concepts such as prolongation and musical reduction. Class work includes studying and drawing Schenkerian sketches. Reading materials will be provided in class.現代の代表的な調性音楽の理論であるハインリッヒ・シェンカーの理論を概観する。授業では、実際にシェンカー分析を行いながら、シェンカー理論独自の楽曲分析技法を学ぶ。
到達目標
 To build a foundation for understanding Schenkerian analysis; gain familiarity with music-theoretical terminology in English and German.シェンカー分析の基本を理解する。英語とドイツ語の音楽理論用語を理解する。
