授業の概要
コミュニケーションストラテジー＆ディスカッション（教科書指定：なし）
　このコースでは、効果的なコミュニケーションを実践するために、受講生が英語を用いる自信をつけるようデザインされています。ディスカッションで有効な、方法や技能を学びます。すなわち、
１）要約において、重要なアイディアを明確にする事２）賛成・反対を表明する事
３）説明すること４）意見を述べる事
です。
トピックには、アイデンティティ、価値観、カルチャーショック、言語文化、ボディランゲージ、習慣、ポライトネス（丁寧表現）、コミュニケーション様式、ジェンダー、文化、社会変化等が含まれます。
　教室内活動には、短い記事を読んだり、ペアワーク、プレゼンテーションなどを行います。受講生は、プレゼンテーションの準備をすることが要求されます。小グループでのディスカッションを通して、自分なりのやりかたで、自分の意見を表明する事に挑戦します。
　受講生は、意見を表現することが求められます。加えて、語彙力、話すときの構造（順序）、他者と意見を交換することなどを学びます。

到達目標
Students should become more capable of expressing their opinions. They should become confident enough to experiment and consider new ideas. In addition, they will acquire vocabulary and structures to talk about various themes and exchange their opinions with others.
