授業の概要
 The theme of this course is "crossing barriers". Students will explore the lives of individuals who have overcome obstacles in several key areas, including language, cross-cultural communication, society, and gender. In studying the lives of people from various cultures, students will develop a deeper appreciation of human possibility and their own choices in creating meaningful lives.
到達目標
 Goals of the course include (1) developing discussion ability in English, (2) increasing critical literacy skills, and (3) developing a supportive classroom atmosphere.

This course is currently in the planning stages, and a detailed syllabus will be distributed on the first day of class.
