授業の概要

現代社会には問題が山積しています。もはや中高年の人々に期待している場合ではありません。将来、今の若者が住み良い社会に暮らすためには、今の若者自身が住み良い社会を作ってゆかねばならない…それが現代社会の現実です。本講義では、毎回アメリカの大学生たちが実行し効果をあげた環境保護活動の一例を概観し、アメリカの大学生たちがどのような考え方と行動によってキャンパスの在りようを変え社会に大きな影響を与えていったのか、またそこから私たちは何を学べるかを検討します。

到達目標	①アメリカの学生たちの考え方と行動の長所と短所を分析する。②現実の社会において意味を持つ行動とは何なのか、自分なりの答を見つける。

成績評価方法	出席・授業参加度・毎回授業の最後に書いてもらうpaperから総合評価します。
そのほか受講者への指示／メッセージ	教科書は英語で書かれています。この授業は英語力を問うのが目的ではありませんし、教科書の英語も平易なものですが、毎回あらかじめ教科書を読んで授業に出席することを強く求めます。
