第1回目
Greetings, Introductions and Classroom Management (rules). Focus on Description: Who am I? Who are you? Why I/You came to Tamagawagakuen? Nice to meet you/It’s a pleasure to meet you.

第2回目
My Neighborhood/ My hometown in Japan. Focus on Description and use of adverbs: My neighborhood has one movie theater behind the old tatami mat shop.

第3回目
How I plan to use English in my life. What can I do/ should I do with English? Focus on verb tense forms: I plan to/ I will/ I am going to/ I am thinking of/ I may/ I might/ I should.

第4回目
My favorite memory from childhood. Focus on past tense verb forms simple past and past perfect: when I was a child, I did, I rode/ I once had flown a kite over the Tama river.

第5回目
How do I get around Tokyo? How do I get to Tamagawagakuen? Focus on giving directions and appropriate replies: How do I get to the/How do I find/ where is/ how far/how close/how many blocks?

What are the best places to visit in Tokyo? In Japan? The best deals? Focus on superlatives and giving directions with maps: which train lines/ which hotels/ which sites/which shops/which bargains/which flea markets?

My ideal night out on the town. Focus on use of modal auxiliary verb forms: We would walk along Omotesando Lane to see the holiday lights in Harajuku.

My mystery date. Focus on description and relative pronouns: use of who/whom/that/which.

Shopping: What’s My Style/ What’s Your Style? Focus on understanding sizes,patterns, and fabrics: Do you have a size six in red silk?

My favorite movie/my favorite television show /My favorite New year’s TV Show in Japan? Focus on summarizing content and applying knowledge of grammar forms used in this class: review of grammar forms taught this term.
