到達目標
This class requires rigorous reading and writing by the students. Students are expected to complete reading and writing assignments daily. Reading strategies for academic reading will be taught and the students are expected to use them in their reading. We will use the process writing approach to complete an essay every two weeks. However, due to the process writing approach, students need to complete several drafts of each essay, which means they need to learn to write daily. Journal writing will be used to help complete the required essays and to help the students in the development of their essays. Much vocabulary will be covered in the readings and students are expected to study these. Completing reading and writing assignments daily is vital for this class since if any are missed, the student will fall behind due to the speedy progress of this class.
