授業の概要 |
Goal (Reading): Readings consist of authentic texts, including literature. The various reading skills are further refined emphasizing critical thinking and evaluation skills. Students are encouraged to be independent learners and thinkers able to handle academic reading material with confidence.
Goal (Writing): Students are able to write full-length essays on academic topics and express themselves in writing across a variety of genres. Writing skills have also become a familiar study aid in the reading process, and in listening to lectures.
Goal(Listening and Speaking): Students are able to make conversation on both casual and academic topics in a variety of situations. Students feel comfortable giving presentations in an academic subject. Listening and speaking skills become tools which students independently use to support their language ability overall.
